Small stone

Now he's asleep in his pushchair I have time to be mindful. But all I do is judge harshly the brassy woman across the aisle because she has her black boots up on the seat and because she keeps issuing wet sneezes.

  1. It's very difficult not to be judgemental. i try hard with my children because I love them dearly, but they drive me mad. My daughter is 47 and still phones me at the last minute over things she should have sorted weeks before.

    1. :-) I was just thinking earlier that I am responsible for Alec 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and that this was very tiring. I thought that perhaps it might let up a bit when he got to 18 -- but maybe I shouldn't be too optimistic.

    2. Nope - you're a mother for life - but then they make you breakfast in bed on mother's day. Cook wonderful meals from time to time, share their exciting adventures and involve you in them sometimes, encourage you to be more adventurous by taking up cycling again after 45 years! Help you grow in all ways.
